What is E-Commerce?

     E-Commerce refers to the buying and selling of products or services over electronic systems such as the Internet and other computer networks.

     It can also refer as Digitally enabled Commercial Transaction between and among organization and individual each termed as E-Commerce i.e. all transaction mediated by digital technology commercial transaction involved exchange of value eg. Money across organization and individual boundaries in return for products and services. Exchange value is important for understanding the limits of E-Commerce. Transacting or facilitating business on the Internet is called E-Commerce. E-Commerce is short for "Electronic Commerce".
